Broke out the color pencils for the first time in awhile yesterday. Obviously... I may be a bit rusty. lol.

still about ten thousand times better than me xD I'm really scared to break out any traditional media. I'll be the one to start the apocalypse because of my drawing.... probably best I don't.

I really lovve that. You should try him against a dark blue or green background. It will help the palomino roan coat stand out a bit better :heart:

I've been forcing myself to do backgrounds with each image... it's torture, but I'm a bit happier with them.

Torture indeed. I don't think I've gotten to that level of commitment yet. I get bored after doing the horse, which is why I usually force myself to do the backgrounds first for show images, then do the horse/rider/tack. But for every image... I wouldn't post anything, it would all be wips needing backgrounds.:P
